deps — Check Dependencies

$ metis deps

Validates the project's resolved dependencies (versions, local availability, lockfiles, duplicates) across conanfile.py, vcpkg manifests, and CMake FetchContent declarations in CMakeLists.txt.

Adding Dependencies at Init

During metis init, answer y to the "add dependencies" prompt, or declare them non-interactively:

$ metis init --enable-cmake \
  --add-dep fmt:https://github.com/fmtlib/fmt.git:11.0.2 \
  --add-dep tomlplusplus:https://github.com/marzer/tomlplusplus.git:v3.4.0

The --add-dep format is <name>:<git_url>:<git_tag>. The tag is optional and defaults to main:

$ metis init --enable-cmake --add-dep fmt:https://github.com/fmtlib/fmt.git

Validation

Each dependency is validated before init writes any files: a missing version, an invalid semver tag, or a manifest entry not installed locally is reported and blocks generation.
